Safe & Secure Lead Removal
If the amount of lead present is considered a potential hazard, Zona recommends performing a contained abatement. Similar to our mold restoration and asbestos abatement procedures, this process keeps the hazardous material from spreading to the rest of your home while our expert lead inspectors safely remove it.
1 Secure the Area. Using plastic sheeting, we secure all floors, walls, and ceilings, and utilize negative pressure machines and air scrubbers to prevent cross-contamination.
2 Removal of Hazardous Material. Our professionals remove all lead-containing material and dispose of it properly according to environmental procedures.
3 High-Powered Vacuuming. All remaining surfaces are cleaned thoroughly using a wet-wipe method. Using a HEPA vacuum, we scrub the air inside the sealed area to remove any lingering material.
4 Post-Removal Testing: Zona employs a third party company to test the area, verifying all lead has been removed and your home is now safe.
